Donovan Jackson and Luke Wypler are looking forward to meeting one of the best players in college football on the field.

Ohio State will take on Georgia in the Peach Bowl as part of the College Football Playoff. There, Jackson and Wypler will meet Georgia’s Jalen Carter. Carter is considered by many to be the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2023 NFL draft class. As one of the best defensive lineman in college football, Carter will lead the charge against the Buckeyes.

Jackson and Wypler recently discussed the matchup with Carter per Eleven Warriors’ Dan Hope. Jackson thinks it will not only be a tough challenge for him, but the entire Ohio State OL.

“I would say he’s very good. On the film, he’s a very strong run stopper. When he gets a pass-rush, he can be very agile and you don’t know if you’re gonna get speed to power or you’re gonna get a little wiggle out of him. So it’s gonna be a very tough test for not only me but the entire O-line.”

Wypler agreed with Jackson’s assessment, adding how Carter has all the traits of an NFL talent.

“He has all the traits that you want in a top talented guy in the NFL. He has power, speed; you can tell his football IQ’s really high the way he approaches pre-snap, you can kind of see sometimes on film, he’s giving defensive backs cues of run, pass based on our stances. So he has all the intangibles you want in a guy. He knows how to use his hands, leverage, push-pull, everything. So he’s a great player and I think that it’s going to be a great challenge for our offensive line.”

Ohio State and Georgia will meet up in the Peach Bowl on Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
