Some major news from the NFL has come out just a few hours before the first round of Thursday night’s draft. MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers is reportedly unhappy in Green Bay.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Rodgers, who has spent his entire NFL career with the franchise, is “so disgruntled with the Green Bay Packers that he has told some within the organization that he does not want to return to the team.” That would have huge implications for the organization, as well as for the draft.

No specifics were provided in Schefter’s initial report on Twitter.

Rodgers was drafted by the Packers as the No. 24 overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft. He’s a three-time league MVP, including last year’s 2020 campaign. He’s also a nine-time Pro Bowl selection, a three-time passer rating leader and led Green Bay to a Super Bowl XLV title.

In his career, Rodgers has thrown for more than 51,000 yards and 400 touchdowns. His completion percentage sits at better than 65% and he’s also piled up over 3,000 rushing yards and more than 30 touchdowns on the ground.
