Former Michigan guard Duncan Robinson made a big impact in the first game of the NBA’s postseason on Saturday.
He scored 24 points in Miami’s Game 1 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. Robinson was a big reason why the Heat were able to send the game to overtime.
Robinson was 7-of-13 from 3-point range and also drained all three of his free throws. He didn’t attempt a shot from 2-point range.
His 24 points led all Miami Heat starters. Goran Dragic scored 25 points off the bench for the Heat.

Robinson and the Heat upset the Bucks in the playoffs last season. In those five games a year ago, Robinson averaged 9.0 points on 7.2 shots per game.
During this regular season, Robinson continued to look like one of the best shooters in the entire league. He attempted 8.5 3-pointers per game and made 40.8 percent of them. For the season, he averaged 13.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per contest.
