Dusty May has had a fantastic season as the first-year coach at Michigan, as the Wolverines knocked off Maryland, 81-80, on Saturday to advance to Sunday’s Big Ten Tournament title game against Wisconsin.
After the win against the Terrapins, May talked to his team in the locker room. One of the things he mentioned to his guys was the opportunity to leave a legacy in Sunday’s game.
“There are like 365 teams in the country, like 310 of them don’t even have a chance to play for a championship,” May said. “Let’s make sure we take advantage of the moment. Let’s make sure we take advantage of the moment. Let’s make sure we are in a position to hang a banner, leave your legacy before we go to the NCAA Tournament.”

Michigan will take on Wisconsin for the B1G Championship in a rematch from a close game in Madison on Dec. 3. The Wolverines won that game 67-64. The winner of this game will earn an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament, but both of these teams are locks to make it.
Tipoff between these 2 teams will be at 3:30 p.m. ET, and the game will be on CBS. The brackets will be revealed right after that during a Selection Sunday special at 6 p.m. ET on CBS.
