A few weeks ago, Stephen A. Smith made one of the most ridiculous claims of the year, stating that he saw Dwayne Haskins as more of a “runner than a thrower.”
That comment was widely criticized, as Haskins was one of the best passing quarterbacks in college football in 2018. He threw for an NCAA-best 4,831 yards and 50 touchdowns, leading Ohio State to a 13-1 record and a B1G title.
While at the NFL Combine, Haskins had a little fun with that comment during an interview with Big Ten Network. When he was asked how he thought the physical part of the combine, Haskins said he was a “thrower not a runner.”
Haskins also spoke about meeting with different teams, how his time at Ohio State prepared him for the upcoming draft and his experience in Columbus.
