Dwayne Haskins has been sensational since taking over as the starting quarterback for the Buckeyes.
The sophomore signal-caller sat at 3,280 yards passing on the season entering Saturday’s game against Maryland and was on the verge of breaking the single-season mark at Ohio State. Thanks to a big touchdown throw in the second quarter, Haskins etched his place in the Buckeyes’ record books.
The big throw by Haskins gives him 3,375 yards on the season as he surpassed Joe Germaine’s record of 3,330 yards from 1998. The touchdown also gives Haskins 34 scores on the season, one short of JT Barrett’s single-season record 35.
That TD pass gives Dwayne Haskins' Jr. the single-season OSU passing yards record, surpassing Joe Germaine.
