Built similarly to former Oklahoma State Cowboy Tyreek Hill at 5-foot-9.5 and 165 pounds, Fleming impressed recruiters nationwide with a 40-yard dash time of 4.47 at The Opening Regional in February.
One of the top-45 wideouts in the cycle according to the 247Sports Composite, he held 39 reported offers from schools including Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Miami, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Penn State, Purdue, Rutgers, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.
The B1G’s No. 4 class, head coach Scott Frost and Company assembled the No. 17 collection of commits in the cycle. Eight four-star Cornhuskers have signed their National Letters of Intent, headlined by Lawrence, Kansas four-star offensive tackle Turner Corcoran.
While his team improved by one-game from 4-8 in 2018 to 5-7 in 2019, Frost has still yet to make a bowl game at the helm of the Nebraska program. Continuing to add players like Fleming to his offensive attack can go a long way toward changing that in 2020.
