Early interception by Minnesota DB Tyler Nubin sets up long TD run by Mohamed Ibrahim

Minnesota opened the scoring against Nebraska, breaking through after turning over Huskers quarterback Luke McCaffrey.
Though Adrian Martinez started for Nebraska, he continues to split time with McCaffrey. It also appeared that Martinez may have been dinged up early on as he was seen getting checked b Nebraska’s staff on the sideline.
Regardless of the reason, McCaffrey’s brief time in the game produced a turnover to the Gophers. His errant pass was tipped by his receiver with Minnesota’s Tyler Nubin swooping in for the tip-drill pick:

It didn’t take long for that play to result in six points. The Gophers drove deep into Nebraska’s territory before handing it off to Moham Ibrahim.
He finished off the drive with a 26-yard run before sliding on the ice on the field:

The finish was a bit scary but it appears Ibrahim will be okay. If Minnesota is to stay in this game and compete all game long, the Gophers will need a big performance from their star running back.
