The linebacker attends Lipscomb Academy in Nashville, Tennessee. He has already visited with the Buckeyes and Volunteers. Spillman took a visit to Columbus on Jun. 9 and Knoxville on Jun. 16.
Ohio State has two other linebackers committed to it from the 2024 class. Garrett Stover and Payton Pierce are both 4-star commits at the position.
The Volunteers have just one linebacker committed via the 2024 class in 3-star commit Jordan Burns.
Ohio State is also waiting on a decision from 2024 CB Cai Bates. Bates will be committing on Jul. 26. He will be deciding between Ohio State, Florida State, Tennessee, LSU, and Kentucky.
Can the Buckeyes keep Spillman from staying in the Volunteer state? It looks like Buckeye fans will have until Friday afternoon to find out.
