Nebraska’s 2019 recruiting class just got even better.

Wandale Robinson, the nation’s second-best all-purpose back in the 2019 recruiting class, announced on Wednesday that he was flipping his commitment from Kentucky to Nebraska. The Kentucky native made the announcement via Twitter.

Robinson is a 4-star back and has been one of the top targets for several teams, particularly in B1G country, for a majority of the recruiting season.

“Staying home is something I would have loved to do, but unfortunately my heart just isn’t there,” Robinson said in a message. “I will be decommitting from the University of Kentucky.

“With that being said, I am following my heart and announcing that I’ll be committing to the University of Nebraska.”

Robinson is ranked as the No. 2 all-purpose back, as well as the No. 2 player out of Kentucky. Overall, he’s been around one of the top 150 players in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports.

Robinson is now the second-highest rated player to join Nebraska’s 2019 recruiting class. He’s behind only Nick Henrich, a 4-star linebacker out of Omaha.

Nebraska’s recruiting class now ranks as the fourth-best in the B1G and No. 22 nationally. The Huskers have 23 commits, six of which are 4-star prospects.
