One of the best scorers in college basketball has hit the portal after four seasons playing for Detroit Mercy.
On Thursday, Antoine Davis announced he was entering the transfer portal. Davis finished the 2021-22 season third nationally at 23.9 points per game.
“Dear Titan Fam, after much thought and consideration, I have decided to enter the transfer portal,” wrote Davis via Twitter. “I will always remember the University of Detroit Mercy and what it has done for me…I have loved everything Detroit Mercy has provided me from basketball to my education. I will always be a Titan.”

In four seasons, Davis appeared in 111 games (110 starts) for the Titans and has career averages of 24.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists. He is a career 36% shooter from 3-point range and scored 24 points in a December 2020 loss to Michigan State.
Davis is sure to have plenty of suitors via the portal. It will be interesting to see if any B1G teams show interest in keeping him in the midwest.
