Elite, 2019 in-state TE commits to Nebraska

This is the kind of win Nebraska needs right now.
Chris Hickman, a 4-star TE out of Omaha, announced Saturday evening that he is committing to the Cornhuskers. Listed at 6-foot-5 and 205 lbs., Hickman has the size and athletic ability to present matchup problems for opposing defenses. He is listed as the No. 2 player in the state of Nebraska and the No. 14 TE nationally for the 2019 class by the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.
In his announcement tweet, Hickman said he felt Nebraska was “the best fit” for him. He shared two graphics with his announcement:
