Telecasting from the Iowa State campus in Ames for the first time in school history, there was at least one topic the entire College GameDay crew agreed on.

Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and David Pollack are all taking No. 13 Penn State to defeat the Pitt Panthers on Saturday in Beaver Stadium.

Considering most sportsbooks have Penn State listed as about a 17-point favorite, this is not exactly a shocking revelation.

Still, being a vast underdog has not slowed the Panthers before. Most recently, Pitt knocked off the No. 7 Nittany Lions, 42-39, in 2016.

Saturday’s meeting will be the 100th in series history. Holding a 52-43-4 edge in the rivalry, Penn State is coming off a 45-13 victory over the Buffalo Bulls. Replacing Trace McSorley, redshirt sophomore quarterback Sean Clifford has thrown for 559 yards and six touchdowns in two games.

Opening their season with a 30-14 loss to Virginia, Pitt bounced back with a 20-10 win over Ohio on September 7. One of the biggest issues for the Panthers has been their lack of a rushing attack. Their leader rusher, junior A.J. Davis, has just 114 yards.

Saturday’s action will kick at 12:00PM ET and will be televised on ABC.
