Former UCLA head coach Jim Mora is making the move from the sideline to the studio.
On Tuesday, ESPN announced that Mora would be joining the network as a college football studio analyst, stating that he’ll be on ESPN2 every Saturday of the season. Mora will be alongside Emmanuel Acho.
Jonathan Vilma will shit over to the ABC Saturday Night Football studio now that former analyst Chip Kelly has taken the head coaching job at UCLA. Another college football analyst, Joey Galloway, has also signed a multi-year contract with ESPN.

Mora, 56, comes to ESPN after spending the last six seasons as the head coach at UCLA, where he compiled a 46-30 record and guided the Bruins to four bowl games. Mora was let go before the final regular season game of the 2017 season.
Prior to coaching at UCLA, Mora was the head coach of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons from 2004-2006, and the Seattle Seahawks in 2009. He has a 31-33 record in the NFL.
This will be Mora’s second go-round in the broadcast booth, though his first stint at ESPN. He previously worked on NFL Network and FOX Sports.
