Many thought the Buckeyes deserved the top seed, which would allow them to face Oklahoma instead of Clemson — an undefeated team many are fearing this time of year. In the end, though, doesn’t the eventual national champion have to beat Clemson (or the team that beats the Tigers) anyway?
Speaking of Clemson being scary, ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky thinks the Tigers are the best team in the country:
In your opinion, which is the best team in the Playoff?@danorlovsky7: "Clemson." pic.twitter.com/IDMvFMTZQG

Orlovsky doesn’t care about the seeding. He cares about who the best team is. He thinks it’s Clemson and that people aren’t respecting its defense enough.
We’ll find out on Saturday, Dec. 28 against No. 2 Ohio State just how good the Tigers are.
