Appearing on ESPNU’s College Football Live, former Miami Hurricanes linebacker and current analyst for the network Jonathan Vilma predicted a big day for Wisconsin Badgers running back Jonathan Taylor vs. the No. 11 Michigan Wolverines.

Saying the running back could have “100-125, maybe 150” yards rushing, Vilma made a point of mentioning how the 2019 Michigan defense is not the same as the 2018 version.

Replacing the likes of Rashan Gary, Tyree Kinnel, David Long and Chase Winovich, the 2-0 Wolverines have held each of their opponents – Middle Tennessee State and Army – to 21 points apiece.

Also 2-0, the No. 13 Badgers have outscored their opponents have a startling margin of 110-0. While they are highly unlikely to sustain it, Wisconsin’s 55 points per game ranks third in America.

One of the leading candidates for the Heisman Trophy entering the season, Taylor has done nothing to hurt his stock. Averaging 6.8 yards per carry, he has already racked up 237 yards (118.5 yards/game) and five touchdowns. Leading the team with three touchdown receptions, he has added an additional 65 yards through the air on five catches.

Michigan/Wisconsin from Madison will kick at 12:00PM ET and be televised on FOX. Michigan won the 2018 meeting, 42-13, but last won in Camp Randall Stadium in 2001.
