Herbstreit’s top 4 coincides with the latest AP Poll, and most other college football rankings after Week 3.
Ohio State, Herbstreit’s alma mater, is the only B1G team on any top 4 ranking after going to 2-0 with a 52-3 win over Rutgers to open up B1G play. Alabama and Georgia enjoyed big wins on Saturday as well, as Clemson squeaked out of Kyle Field with a 28-26 win over Texas A&M, led by Jimbo Fisher.
Herbstreit has Oklahoma and Auburn ranked No. 5 and No. 6, respectively. Both teams also won big on Saturday, Oklahoma took down UCLA 49-21, and Auburn handled Alabama State 63-9.
