During Saturday’s slate of college football on ESPN, 2 ESPN analysts released their respective top 6’s for the College Football Playoff.

Both Roy Philpott and Kelly Stouffer had the same top 3 in Georgia, Cincinnati, and Alabama, but a different team in their No. 4 spot.

Philpott has Michigan State at No. 4, which isn’t too big of a surprise after its crucial win against Michigan on Saturday afternoon. However, Stouffer differed a bit and put Kentucky at No. 4, despite the Wildcats being No. 12 in the country and 6-1 overall.

Philpott then had Oklahoma and Ohio State as his first 2 out, while Stouffer has both Michigan and Michigan State as his first 2 out.

Kentucky is going to have to run the table to get into the College Football Playoff, plus hope that Georgia falters along the way. The path for Michigan State or Ohio State is much clearer as the winner in that matchup will be set up the rest of the way.

It should be an interesting last few weeks of the season.
