The final picks are in.

With Week 1 approaching, ESPN’s group of college football reporters, analysts and experts made their final predictions for this year’s College Football Playoff. There is some variation among the picks this year, but there are plenty of teams that are pretty consistently included.

Out of the B1G, Ohio State is the only team that receives any mention. Five of the 10 analysts picked the Buckeyes to get into the College Football Playoff at the end of the season. None had OSU winning it all.

Below are the picks:

  • Andrea Adelson: Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, Texas A&M
  • Bill Connelly: Alabama, Oklahoma, Georgia, Clemson
  • David Hale: Georgia, Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma
  • Chris Low: Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Clemson
  • Ryan McGee: Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, Oklahoma
  • Adam Rittenberg: Oklahoma, Clemson, Georgia, Alabama
  • Alex Scarborough: Oklahoma, Georgia, Clemson, Alabama
  • Mark Schlabach: Georgia, Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma
  • Tom VanHaaren: Oklahoma, Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson
  • Dave Wilson: Oklahoma, Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State

The B1G season kicked off last Saturday with Illinois registering a 30-22 victory over Nebraska. Conference action resumes on Thursday with Rutgers hosting Temple and No. 4 Ohio State traveling to Minnesota.

All 14 B1G teams will be in action on Week 1.
