ESPN’s panel of college football experts has new projections for the College Football Playoff coming out of Week 9.
On Tuesday, teams and fans will get their first look at the rankings of the College Football Playoff Committee. While the November stretch will narrow the list of contenders even further, the initial rankings will be a good gauge for what to expect in Week 10 and beyond.
As for ESPN’s panel, Georgia, Ohio State and Tennessee appeared on 15-of-15 ballots as near-locks to make the Playoff. Those 3 teams were ranked No. 1 and tied-No. 2, respectively, on the latest AP Poll following Week 9.

As for the rest of the field, the No. 4 spot remains up for grabs. Michigan — following a dominant rivalry win over Michigan State — received 11 of the 15 ballots as the final team in the Playoff field.
Oregon (2), Alabama (1) and Clemson (1) were the only other teams to appear on ballots as we gear up for Week 10.
