NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay is taking a temporary leave from his duties with ESPN, he announced on Tuesday.
He said he’s stepping away from his role with the World Wide Leader to focus on his health and family.
Here’s McShay’s announcement:
I am going to take some time away to focus on my health and my family. Thank you ESPN for being so supportive and for all the well wishes – I can’t wait to be back on the sidelines soon.

Fans on Twitter were concerned about McShay’s speech and appearance this weekend while he was working sideline coverage for the Alabama-Miami game.

It’s unclear how long McShay will be away from ESPN. In addition to his NFL Draft responsibilities, he regular works sideline coverage for some of the biggest college football games of the year.
McShay has worked for ESPN since 2006.
