It’s never too early to start looking ahead to the next NFL Draft.
Over the weekend, the 2019 NFL Draft came and went and 40 B1G stars heard their names called in Nashville. But now that the latest version of the draft is in the books, everyone is already looking ahead to next year’s spectacle.
ESPN recently produced a list of the top 10 NFL Draft prospects for 2020 without a single snap being played in the 2019 college football season. Two players from the B1G were mentioned.
Ohio State defensive end Chase Young and Michigan cornerback Lavert Hill were listed among the top 10 early prospects for the 2020 draft. Young came in at No. 5 on the list and Hill was penciled in at No. 9.

Young has been a force on Ohio State’s defensive line over the last two years, totaling 20.5 tackles for loss and 13 sacks. He’s also forced two fumbles and swatted down five passes.
Hill has been an excellent cornerback for Michigan over the last three years, breaking up 13 passes and recording three interceptions, including two pick-sixes. He’s also totaled 41 tackles in his career.
The ceiling is high for both players and their stock will likely only grow in 2019. It’s still a year away, but it should be interesting to see what NFL teams think of these two B1G stars when the draft rolls around next spring.
