ESPN has released its power rankings for the top five following Week 8 action.

There weren’t a ton of changes this week, as there weren’t nearly as many upsets on Saturday as a week ago, meaning there weren’t nearly as many changes in the power rankings.

Here’s how ESPN has the top five ranked after Week 8:

Alabama, TCU and Penn State all won in convincing fashion, as none of the three had a margin of victory less than 29 points. Georgia and Clemson enjoyed a bye week.

Of the group in the top five, Clemson is the only team who is not undefeated, suffering a loss to Syracuse last weekend.

Next week we’ll see if there’s any jostling in those top five spots, as several key match-ups are on the slate. Penn State will travel to Columbus to play Ohio State and Georgia will meet Florida in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. Clemson hosts Georgia Tech, TCU travels to Iowa State and Alabama will be on the bye.
