The college basketball season was forced to end abruptly due to the ongoing public health crisis in America. The NCAA made the difficult decision to cancel March Madness, putting an end to the 2019-20 season.
Now that the season is over, it’s time to start looking ahead to next year, though we’re doing so just a bit earlier than we usually would. This week, ESPN has released its way-too-early top 25 for the 2020-21 college basketball season.
Five B1G teams were included in the network’s way-too-early rankings, with Iowa being the highest-ranked team at No. 7. Michigan State also cracked the top 10, sitting at No. 9. Ohio State, Wisconsin and Michigan were the other three teams in the mix.
