ESPN will air an E:60 special on Matt Millen on Sunday, following the former Penn State star, NFL general manager and football broadcaster through his recent heart transplant.
Millen opened up with E:60 about the transplant, which he received on Christmas Even 2018. He was diagnosed with amyloidosis, which causes the buildup of amyloid proteins in the heart, kidneys, liver or other organs.
After receiving the diagnosis, Millen stepped away from his broadcasting duties at Big Ten Network to focus on his health. He was considered to be the lead color analyst for the network’s football coverage.
Both ESPN and Penn State have share a one-minute preview of the special, which is set to air on Sunday morning at 9 a.m. ET. You can view the clip below:
