Ohio State has found its groove in the last couple weeks after an early-season loss to Oregon threw the Buckeyes off track.

OSU is now firmly in the top 10 of the AP Poll, currently sitting at No. 7. Ryan Day’s squad will likely have a shot at the College Football Playoff if they win out — including the Big Ten Championship in December.

According to ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI), the Buckeyes have a good chance of making that happen.

Here’s how FPI is projecting the rest of Ohio State’s season to go, in terms of likelihood of winning each remaining game on the schedule:

  •  vs. Maryland: 93.4 percent
  • at Indiana: 87.9 percent
  • vs. Penn State: 75.2 percent
  • at Nebraska: 71.1 percent
  • vs. Purdue: 91.8 percent
  • vs. Michigan State: 81.3 percent
  • at Michigan: 51.2 percent

It’s a difficult schedule the rest of the way as it currently includes three ranked teams. Ohio State’s Big Ten East foes Penn State, Michigan and Michigan State are all currently undefeated.

The Michigan game is a virtual tossup, per FPI, with a 51.2 percent chance of the Buckeyes winning that one in Ann Arbor. No other win projection is under 70 percent on Ohio State’s remaining schedule.

Ohio State and Maryland kick off at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday.
