Then there were four!

Believe it or not, but the regular season of college football is already halfway done! But even tougher to believe is that there are four remaining B1G teams with an undefeated record.

Entering Week 8, Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Minnesota all have yet to lose a game. And considering the B1G has been left out of the College Football Playoff in recent years, finishing the season with an undefeated record is likely the only way a B1G team gets in this season.

While there is a chance two undefeated B1G teams meet in Indianapolis for the conference championship game, it remains likely that most of these teams will suffer a loss in the regular season. Here is when these teams are expected to take their first loss, according to ESPN’s FPI:

Minnesota

  • Nov. 9 vs Penn State

Ohio State

  • Favored in every game during the regular season

Penn State

  • Nov. 23 @ Ohio State

Wisconsin

  • Oct. 26 @ Ohio State
