ESPN’s FPI ranked all 130 FBS teams: Here’s where the 14 B1G teams stand

ESPN’s complete Football Power Index for the 2020 preseason is out. Monday, we got a look at the full top 10 the formula was predicting heading into the fall, but now we can look at where all 130 FBS stands.

As we learned from the release of the FPI top 10, Ohio State is the highest-ranked B1G team, coming in at No. 2, behind only Clemson. Penn State (No. 5) and Wisconsin (No. 6) were the two other B1G programs to crack the top 10.

The B1G actually stands pretty well this preseason, with 10 teams inside the top 40 spots. The four teams on the outside the top 50 were Michigan State, Illinois, Maryland and Rutgers.

Here’s a look at where all 14 B1G teams ranked in ESPN’s preseason FPI. You can view all 130 teams here:

  • No. 20: Minnesota
  • No. 22: Nebraska
  • No. 26: Indiana
