With a huge upset in conference play in Week 8, the odds to win the B1G have shifted a good bit entering Week 9.
Wisconsin appeared to be playing better and better heading into a road trip to Illinois. Unfortunately, a bad performance in Champaign resulted in one of the biggest upsets this season.
With the loss by the Badgers, ESPN’s FPI has updated the odds to win the B1G this season. Ohio State remains locked into the pole position on the FPI while Wisconsin actually remains in the second spot despite the upset.

While Penn State did knock off Michigan, the Nittany Lions remain just a few percentage points behind the Badgers in the odds. Minnesota, still undefeated and leading the B1G West, is still not given a realistic shot at winning the conference.
Here is where the teams land on the FPI odds to win the B1G:
- Ohio State – 68.8%
- Wisconsin – 14.0%
- Penn State – 12.7%
- Minnesota – 2.8%
