ESPN’s FPI updates odds to win wild B1G West following Week 10

With Week 10 in the books, we’re getting closer to seeing who’s going to be getting to Indianapolis at the end of the regular season.
The B1G West is as wide open as ever with 4 teams having the same conference record at 4-2. Wisconsin, Purdue, Iowa, and Minnesota all have the best odds of winning the division, though the FPI seems to like Wisconsin the most.
The Badgers are 6-3 after they won their 5th in a row on Saturday against the Scarlet Knights. It’s been a remarkable turnaround for them after they started out 1-3 but thanks to their defense and running game, they’ve been able to run the table.
Purdue has been able to score 2 massive upset wins to get to 6-3, the latter of which came this past Saturday against Michigan State. Iowa also got a big victory against Northwestern on Saturday, while Minnesota fell to Illinois.
Here’s who the FPI has as the favorites to win the B1G West:
- Wisconsin – 62.2%
- Minnesota – 17.3%
- Iowa – 15.7%
- Purdue – 4.9%
The rest of the teams have less than a 4% chance of winning the division.
