ESPN’s Heather Dinich revealed her pick for the Heisman Trophy on First Take Friday morning.
The senior writer says Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud is her pick for Heisman this season. She states that he has made some NFL throws that have to impress voters and has managed some intense pressure in the passing game. She also says Stroud has lived up to all the hype coming into the season.

Stroud has racked up an impressive 2,750 passing yards to go along with an NCAA-best 34 passing touchdowns. He has also thrown just 4 interceptions on the season.
Stroud has had the best odds to win Heisman for most of the season, though Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker has also put his name in the conversation. Stroud got a big boost after Hooker’s lackluster performance against Georgia two weeks ago.
Stroud still has to put on some great performances if he wants to secure the trophy. The Buckeyes take on Maryland this weekend before a tough final game against Michigan.
