Justin Fields started his career at Georgia, but decided to leave Athens after one year and transferred to Ohio State. But on Saturday night, the ESPN graphics team didn’t quite make that adjustment.

Four finalists were in New York on Saturday for the Heisman Trophy presentation ceremony. LSU quarterback Joe Burrow, Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields, Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts and Ohio State defensive end Chase Young were all in attendance.

During a specific segment with the camera focused on Fields, ESPN used a graphic to highlight the Ohio State quarterback. The only problem? The graphic was the Georgia “G” logo along with the text “Georgia quarterback.”

Obviously, that didn’t sit too well with Ohio State fans. Below is the image:

Mistakes obviously happen. It’s not as if it was a random slip up, Fields did spend one season at Georgia before heading to Ohio State. But you can also understand the frustration a little bit.

Fields went on to finish third in the Heisman voting, behind Burrow (winner) and Hurts (second). Young finished fourth.
