Last weekend wasn’t a big weekend of football for Big Ten football, but this weekend has a lot more in store in terms of great games.
There are teams looking to send a message across the conference, especially Indiana who gets Ohio State this weekend. The same also goes with Northwestern who gets the Wisconsin Badgers.
Here is how ESPN’s SP+ believes these games will shake out:
- Minnesota 32, Purdue 31.
- Nebraska 36, Illinois 21
- Ohio State 39, Indiana 20
- Maryland 26, Michigan State 22
- Iowa 25, Penn State 25 (though Iowa is a projected 0.4 points better than Penn State)
- Wisconsin 30, Northwestern 15
- Michigan 37, Rutgers 17
🥶👎 WEEK 12 SP+ PICKS 🙁🥃
* Big games: Oh St 39, Ind 20; Cincy 30, UCF 27; Wisconsin 30, Northwestern 15; OU 32, OSU 26; Utah 32, USC 30

There’s a lot to take in with these results but the SP+ is very bullish on Ohio State. It is for good reason too, as they are the third-ranked team in the country and have been on fire.
As for the Wisconsin-Northwestern game, it’s more of the same as ESPN has the Badgers winning by more than two touchdowns. Though there is less tape on the Badgers, they have looked dominant in wins over Illinois and Michigan and continue getting closer and closer to full strength.
If Northwestern is able to pull off the upset though, it would show everyone that they’re for real. The same can also be said for the Hoosiers.
