ESPN’s SP+ predicts every B1G Week 8 game

The second half of the college football season gets rolling with Week 8 action this weekend!

For the B1G, the action starts a bit earlier with Ohio State and Northwestern squaring off in a Friday night showdown. That is an awesome way to get the weekend rolling early, but it remains to be seen if the Wildcats can keep it close against the Buckeyes.

Once we get to Saturday, there will be five games around the conference, highlighted by a primetime battle between Penn State and Michigan. The Wolverines are making the treacherous trip to Happy Valley for a White Out showdown with the Nittany Lions.

It is bound to be another great week of action for football fans everywhere! As teams continue preparation for the game ahead, ESPN’s Bill Connelly shared the SP+ picks for the week.

  • Ohio State 34, Northwestern 7
  • Purdue 21, Iowa 35
  • Wisconsin 40, Illinois 16
  • Indiana 30, Maryland 24
  • Minnesota 39, Rutgers 16
  • Michigan 20, Penn State 28
