ESPN’s Bill Connelly has revealed SP+’s score predictions for every game involving an FBS team in Week 2.

Here’s a look at all the games featuring Big Ten teams for this week:

  • Indiana 45, Western Illinois 3
  • Duke 23, Northwestern 17
  • Rutgers 36, Akron 4
  • Penn State 42, Bowling Green 8
  • Minnesota 31, Rhode Island 9
  • Texas 28, Michigan 21
  • Washington 39, Eastern Michigan 11
  • Iowa 21, Iowa State 14
  • Maryland 28, Michigan State 12
  • Wisconsin 29, South Dakota 9
  • Kansas 31, Illinois 25
  • Nebraska 30, Colorado 20
  • Ohio State 45, Western Michigan 3
  • Oregon 41, Boise State 21
  • USC 48, Utah State 23

Of the 15 games involving the conference this week, a Big Ten team is favored by SP+ in 12 of them. The only exceptions are Northwestern against Duke, Michigan against Texas and Illinois against Kansas.

Maryland vs. Michigan State will serve as the first game of the year that features 2 Big Ten programs. Purdue is the only Big Ten program that is idle this week.

The Big Ten is off to an excellent start in 2024. The league went a combined 17-1 in Week 1, with Minnesota’ narrow loss to North Carolina being the only blemish. The Big Ten will feature in a number of high-profile nonconference games again this week — with Texas-Michigan and Colorado-Nebraska set to take center stage in that regard.
