ESPN’s Todd McShay includes 8 B1G stars among Top 32 NFL Draft prospects

We are already 9 weeks into the college football season and 8 weeks into the NFL season. It is never too early to start looking at draft boards.

The 2022 NFL Draft is still months away when it will take place in Las Vegas, NV., on April 28-30. Many Draft experts already have a few editions of their mock drafts and their draft rankings.

ESPN’s Todd McShay has listed his Top 32 prospects for this year’s upcoming NFL Draft. You can read the story here. (ESPN+ Subscription required). This is not a mock; it is strictly his rankings. 

McShay has 8 players from the B1G in the Top 32 of his rankings:

5. Aidan Hutchinson, DE, Michigan

Season Stats: 27 tackles, 17 solo tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery and 1 pass deflection.

8. Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State

Season Stats: 36 receptions, 605 yards, 16.8 yards per reception and 6 touchdowns.

10. Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State

Season Stats: 32 receptions, 518 yards, 16.2 yards per reception and 8 touchdowns.

12. Jahan Dotson, WR, Penn State

Season Stats: 49 receptions, 563 yards, 11.5 yards per reception and 6 touchdowns.

15. Nicholas Petit-Frere, OT, Ohio State

Season Stats: Starting OL

17. George Karlaftis, DE, Purdue

Season Stats: 23 total tackles, 16 solo tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, 4 pass deflections, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery and 1 touchdown.

20. Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa

 Seasons Stats: Starting OL

25. Brandon Smith, LB, Penn State

Season Stats: 44 total tackles, 27 solo tackles, 2 sacks, 2 pass deflections and 1 fumble recovery.

All 8 of these players have been spectacular for their respective teams this season, and they all have a chance to be exceptional at the next level.

All 8 of these players will be in action on Saturday.
