ESPN’s Todd McShay tabs 6 B1G players as first-round selections in initial mock draft

With the college football regular season in the books, ESPN NFL Draft expert Todd McShay has unveiled his initial mock draft.

The 2020 NFL Draft is still several months away, but now is the time when player projections start to trickle out. McShay has released his NFL Mock Draft 1.0 on ESPN, making his initial projections on where some of the top college football stars will land.

McShay included six B1G players in his first-round selections. Three of those players come from Ohio State and two are from Iowa. Penn State was the only other team to have a player in the mix.

Below is where McShay is projecting those six B1G players to land when the 2020 NFL Draft rolls around. You can view McShay’s complete mock draft on ESPN.com (subscription required):

  • No. 2: Chase Young, DE, Ohio State — New York Giants
  • No. 5: Jeff Okudah, CB, Ohio State — Detroit Lions
  • No. 29: A.J. Epenesa, DE, Iowa — New Orleans Saints
  • No. 30: Tristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa — New England Patriots
  • No. 31: J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ohio State — San Francisco 49ers
  • No. 32: Yetur Gross-Matos, DE, Penn State — Baltimore Ravens
