ESPN’s updated FPI Top 25 after New Year’s Day bowl games

There’s just one game remaining. In less than a week, Alabama and Clemson will meet for the fourth time in as many years, with this year marking the third time the two teams are competing in the national title game.

The 2018 season is in the books for everyone else.

After the New Year’s Day bowl games, ESPN updated its Football Power Index top 25, which will likely remain the same after the national championship on Monday, with the exception of those top two spots.

It’s a pretty interesting top 25 list, to say the least. These rankings will also likely be create a lot of conversation heading into the offseason. And why not? We need something to discuss over the next six months.

Here’s what ESPN’s FPI top 25 rankings look like with just one game remaining:
