If you thought Ohio State’s blowout loss to Iowa would alter how Vegas views the Buckeyes, think again.

On Sunday afternoon, several spreads for Week 11 games were released, one of which was Saturday’s B1G clash between Michigan State and Ohio State in Columbus. It’s not surprising that the Buckeyes are home favorites, but they have have been given a relatively large line, especially considering what happened in Iowa City.

The Buckeyes opened as a 15.5-point favorite through most betting sites.

Ohio State was actually a 17.5-point favorite last week against the Hawkeyes and won’t up losing 55-24 to fall to 7-2 on the year. Michigan State, on the other hand, was a nine-point underdog to Penn State and ended up defeating the Nittany Lions on a game-winning field goal.

Saturday’s game is of real significance, as the winner becomes almost guaranteed a spot in the B1G title game at the end of the season.

Michigan State-Ohio State is scheduled to kickoff at noon ET and will air on FOX.
