Every Big Ten team’s odds to win the 2022 national championship

Odds continue to fluctuate for college football’s national champion next season.
Because of the transfer portal, spring injuries and other factors, the favorites for winning the College Football Playoff are frequently changing. What the odds look like when the fall rolls around could be much different than the spring.
Still, it’s fun to see where the betting favorites stand in the big picture. A few B1G teams are near the top of the conversation when it comes to some of the betting lines.
It’s no surprise that Ohio State is by itself in the conference, listed at +500 (both FanDuel and DraftKings) to win the national championship. The Buckeyes are behind only Alabama (+200) and Georgia (+350) to claim the sport’s top prize.
Further down the road are Michigan, Wisconsin and Penn State, which range from +3000 to +8000 depending on sportsbook. Then, the odds really start to drop off.

As you can see in the DraftKings odds, they’re pretty similar to the FanDuel odds. Of note here is that DraftKings has Iowa at +10000 compared to FanDuel at +20000 (if you want to bet Iowa to win it all, take the +20000 at FanDuel).

Betting Michigan to win the national championship?
If you love Michigan’s chances next year, the obvious play is to take them at FanDuel with +5000 odds. Michigan broke through this past season with a win over rival Ohio State and an appearance in the College Football Playoff (lost to Georgia). Can the Wolverines take the next step and bring home the hardware at the end of the season?
