When Super Bowl LVI came to an end on Sunday night, 12 former B1G players were crowned champions.
The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20, thanks to a game-winning 1-yard touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford to Cooper Kupp with 1:25 to play. It was an incredibly entertaining end to one of the most enjoyable NFL postseasons in memory.
A total of 12 former B1G players on the active roster and injured reserve list were on the roster for the Rams, claiming a Super Bowl ring. That doesn’t include ex-Northwestern wide receiver Bennett Skowronek, who finished his college career at Notre Dame.
