Everyone is talking about the pass interference call that decided Purdue-Minnesota game

The biggest talking point from the B1G on Friday night wasn’t Rondale Moore, Mohamed Ibrahim or really anyone else who played in the game. Instead, it was about one guy wearing stripes who threw a penalty flag late in the contest.

Purdue quarterback Jack Plummer hit tight end Payne Durham in the back of the end zone for a touchdown to give the Boilermakers a late lead in the game. But offensive pass interference was called on Durham, negating the touchdown and dropping the score back to 34-31 in favor of the Gophers.

On the next play, Plummer tossed an interception and Minnesota hung on for a win. Below is the video of the alleged pass interference:

You can probably understand why Purdue fans weren’t too happy. But they weren’t the only ones ripping the officiating at the end of the game. Everyone on social media was talking about it.
