Rutgers wide receiver and return man Aaron Cruickshank has already battled injuries this season, and he was helped off the field with what appeared to be a lower leg injury vs. Wisconsin.

Cruickshank entered Week 10 as the third-leading receiver for the Scarlet Knights and the team’s best return man. He had not played since the loss to Michigan State, and he was injured on a kickoff return against the Badgers.

Replays appeared to show a non-contact injury occurring to Cruickshank’s leg or knee before he was hit by the Badgers. He also fumbled on the play, but the bigger concern is his availability heading forward.

Cruickshank did not have a catch vs. Wisconsin before the injury. He had 20 catches for 244 yards and 2 touchdowns this season and 30 yards on 6 carries. Cruickshank began his career with the Badgers before transferring to Rutgers after the 2019 season.
