Blake Cashman felt like a steal in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He was probably one of the more underrated talents in college football last season.

Early into his NFL career, he’s already making an impact.

Cashman made his Monday Night Football debut this week, as the New York Jets battled the Cleveland Browns in an AFC matchup. And he made a loud statement, posting six tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks in the contest. He was also credited with a pass defended and two solo stops.

Not a bad performance in your first ever Monday Night Football game. Unfortunately, his efforts weren’t enough for the Jets, which fell 23-3 to the Browns. Nonetheless, Cashman had an outstanding performance.

Cashman made his NFL debut in Week 1 against Buffalo. In that contest, he recorded two tackles with one solo stop in a 17-16 loss to the Bills.
