A former Indiana cornerback has landed at a spot on an FCS roster.

Elijah Rodgers, who originally committed to the Hoosiers in the 2018 recruiting class, has found a home at Gardner-Webb. The school made a mention of the addition of Rodgers on Wednesday.

Rodgers was a 3-star prospect out of high school and was ranked as a top 150 cornerback in his class. He initially committed to Indiana but opted to transfer prior to the start of the season due to personal reasons.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Rodgers is a native of South Carolina.

According to GWUSports.com, Rodgers began practicing with the team on Saturday and was in full pads by Thursday.
