A former Michigan commit and Georgia defensive back is considering his options moving forward.
Tuesday, Matt Zenitz of AL.com reported that former four-star defensive back Otis Reese has entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal and is exploring options to play elsewhere. He was at one time committed to Michigan before flipping to Georgia.

Reese, a member of UGA’s 2018 recruiting class, played in 14 games this season, making three tackles. Last fall, he appeared in 11 contests and made 13 stops for the Bulldogs.
As a prospect, Reese was ranked as the No. 87 player in the 2018 recruiting class. He was committed to Michigan up until National Signing Day in February, when he flipped to the Bulldogs. It would be interesting if he’s still considering a destination in Ann Arbor, but there has been no mention on where he’d consider landing.
Entering the transfer portal doesn’t necessarily mean a player will leave a program, but it does give Reese the option to speak with other schools and coaches. He can return to Georgia if that’s his best option.
