Former Ohio State guard Luther Muhammad is closing in on a decision. After receiving plenty of interest from schools across the country when he entered his name in the transfer portal, the ex-Buckeye has trimmed down his list of options.
According to Evan Daniels of 247Sports, Muhammad i still considering Seton Hall, Arizona State, UCLA, West Virginia and New Mexico. He anticipates making his final decision on Tuesday.
Muhammad just completed his sophomore season with the Buckeyes, averaging 7.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists this past year. Those numbers were slightly below his averages as a freshman in the 2018-19 season, when he put up 7.6 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.
Ohio State finished the 2019-20 season with a 21-10 record and was ranked No. 19 nationally. The Buckeyes would’ve been headed to the NCAA Tournament had it not been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
