Lyles began his career at Wisconsin as a defensive end, then transitioned to the offensive line in 2019 as a left guard.
In 2019, Lyles made 13 appearances with four starts. For the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, Lyles moved to the center position and made four starts before sustaining a season-ending knee injury.
In total, Lyles has played in 34 games with 14 starts throughout his various positions.
Lyles is grateful to Wisconsin for the opportunity and will always have fond memories of his time as a Badger.
“With one year of college football left in my future, I’ve decided to bet on myself and will be transferring to a new program for my final season of eligibility,” Lyles said. “My five years as part of the Wisconsin football program have given me some of the best times of my life and experiences I’ll never forget. Though my time as a Badger has come to an end, I’ll forever be thankful to the fans, coaches, staff and — especially — to my teammates for all their support.”
