Shea Patterson will look to follow in the steps of countless other players who boosted their NFL stock with a strong Senior Bowl performance.
The Reese’s Senior Bowl is played annually in Mobile, Alabama and is an opportunity for senior players to work with NFL coaches. Along with the on-field preparations and performances, the players also get the chance to interview and talk with NFL executives ahead of the NFL Combine and eventually the draft.

Many players have used it as a chance to springboard into a higher draft selection, and Patterson has officially accepted a bid to attend the Senior Bowl as of Tuesday.
Executive Director for the Senior Bowl and ex-NFL Scout Jim Nagy even took time to highlight Patterson Tuesday evening. Nagy claimed that the Senior Bowl takes time preparing its invitations, and Patterson earned his invitation with a strong stretch in November. Now, Patterson has a chance to showcase his skillset.
Congrats, @SheaPatterson_1! There’s a reason why we take our time selecting @seniorbowl rosters…we owe players every opportunity to prove themselves. Shea played his way into a roster spot with a strong November. Our game is perfect showcase for his mobility and arm talent. https://t.co/1uyhtynQn3
