Ezekiel Elliott’s injury status updated ahead of Cowboys-Vikings

Ezekiel Elliott, a former Ohio State running back, is expected to return from injury Sunday when the Cowboys take on the 8-1 Vikings. That’s a major boon to a Cowboys offense playing one of the toughest teams in the NFL.
Elliott has been sidelined the past 2 games with a knee injury.
#Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (knee) is expected to play, per me and @TomPelissero. One source said he’s light years ahead of last week.

Elliott has rushed for just 442 yards and 4 touchdowns so far this season, playing in just 7 games. The Cowboys star, who was drafted in 2016, is now 27 years old in a league that rarely pays running backs after their contract has expired due to the rough toll it takes on their bodies.
Let’s see what the star RB can do against Minnesota.
